“I am a wife, a mother, and a lifelong conservative Republican. My husband, Wes and I have three beautiful children- Remington, Arlington, and Huntington.
Wes is a detective with the Louisville Metro Police Department, where he has worked since 2012. My husband and I are members of Southeast Christian Church Bullitt County, where we serve in the children’s ministry.
Wes and I have both chosen a life of public service and believe that God has called upon us to help others.
The Troutman family is blessed to call Bullitt County home and we are grateful to have each of you as our neighbors!”

For the past 10 years, I have worked at the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in Jefferson County. During my career as a felony prosecutor, I have seen firsthand the destruction caused by the growing national opioid crisis as well as a nationwide increase in violent crime. I have tried and won a variety of violent felony cases. Most recently, I tried a murder case resulting in a guilty conviction on all charges.
Unfortunately, many families in Bullitt County have been touched by these evils. Too many good families in Bullitt County have lost loved ones due to fentanyl and heroin overdoses. And just this year we have seen multiple homicides in Bullitt County.
Drug traffickers and violent offenders must be held accountable for their actions and removed from our communities. As your Bullitt County Commonwealth’s Attorney, I will fight every day to make sure that Bullitt County remains a safe place for your children and mine. I will work diligently with our federal, state and local law enforcement agencies to ensure that our communities have the full support of the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.
This county needs a strong prosecutor who will work hard to ensure that our community stays the safe place we all love. As your Commonwealth’s Attorney, I will take cases to trial and do whatever work is necessary to hold criminals accountable. Thank you for your time and I would be honored to have your vote in May!

Experience Matters
I have over ten years of felony prosecution experience. I was hired into the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office January of 2014 as a law clerk with a limited license to practice and eventually rose to senior law clerk before passing the bar and ultimately becoming a full time felony prosecutor in 2015. I have 2.5 times more years of felony prosecution experience than my opponent.
I have frequently been asked what the difference between a County Attorney and a Commonwealth’s Attorney is. A County attorney handles traffic tickets, misdemeanors, and felony cases in so far as having the preliminary hearing to determine probable cause. The Commonwealth Attorney indicts felony cases (crimes with a penalty exceeding 1 year of prison) and prosecutes those by plea or going to trial. I have worked for the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office my entire career. This is the experience that matters and what is needed for Bullitt County.
Vote Troutman for Commonwealth Attorney because felony experience matters.

In your 10 plus years as a prosecutor how many cases have you actually tried? How many have you won ? Last question when was the last time you tried a case in court?
You got our vote today!!!!
Definitely getting my vote. I'm a little surprised that anyone would post that they won't vote for her if she supports any particular presidential candidate. Who she votes for is her business and nobody else's. It's one of those things that make this country great: Freedom. Good seeing you at the American Legion tonight, Amanda, as always.
